I'm trying to listen to CBC through my BDP-2 (I know, I'm an inveterate Canadian  ). I'm pasting http://www.cbc.ca/listen/live/radio1/toronto  into the box beside Play in bRadio, and clicking Play (or clicking the Play button), but nothing is happening.  I've tried http://playerservices.streamtheworld.com/pls/CBC_R2_TOR_H.pls and http://liveradiocanada.cbc.ca/i/CBCR2_TOR@382863/master.m3u8 and http://cbc_r2_tor.akacast.akamaistream.net/7/364/451661/v1/rc.akacast.akamaistream.net/cbc_r2_tor too, but no luck there either. 

Pasting links like http://37.130.228.60/aac-320.m3u and http://stream.radiomonster.fm/evergreens/listen.m3u work fine, so I suspect the CBC links I have are not in a compatible format. Does anyone know where to find CBC links in an BDP-friendly format? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply James. Nope, still no go for me. I even updated my firmware to Manic Moose S2.32 2017-02-13 MPD 0.18.21.

After I paste this link into the bRadio play box and click Play (just once), I get 7 entries in my Now Playing playlist under Media Player:

1. index_48_a-p.m3u8?sd=10&rebase=on
2. index_48_a-b.m3u8?sd=10&rebase=on
3. index_64_a-p.m3u8?sd=10&rebase=on
4. index_64_a-b.m3u8?sd=10&rebase=on
5. index_96_a-p.m3u8?sd=10&rebase=on
6. index_96_a-b.m3u8?sd=10&rebase=on
7. master.m3u8

I can select any one of them and click the play button, but nothing happens, the player stays stopped.

I don't have Bryston equipment. I know that Canadian streaming stations are not universally available i.e. in the US. I wonder if your equipment is somehow indicating that your location is not where it actually is i.e. in Canada. Maybe Bryston could tell you how to check this. Are you able to get other streaming stations?

The links at:

http://www.cbc.ca/radio/includes/streams.html

work on my BDP-2 @ 128 kbps.

The last two should work internationally. Other R2 links are likely geofenced.

The streams in http://liveradiocanada.cbc.ca/i/CBCR2_TOR@382863/master.m3u8 also work, but the bit rates are even lower.

Web streams can be found at:

http://www.cbcmusic.ca/music-streams

I haven't looked to see if those streams are directly accessible (it's a bit awkward on an iPad.)

Unfortunately, there are lots of dead links & pages on the net.
