**SOLD**: Aaron No.3 Millennium

Time to let go of this guy. It's a wonderful stereo amp that replaced a Job225 that I had last year and it's an exceptional piece at this price. The original feet would mar my rack shelf so I replaced them with Herbie's Tenderfeet as footers. The Herbies were a nice improvement. Will ship with original double box. Just under two years old and goes for about $2800 new

Sometimes I feel like Christopher Walken...I got a fever. And the only prescription... is more amplifiers

I think I got a ways to go before I catch you and Rex though.  :D

Tha Aaron replaced a Job225, what bumped the No. 3 off?

Nothing necessarily bumped the Aaron amp per say as I'm using monoblocks now with what I think are great 4 foot speaker cables. So being a stereo amp I have to use a cheaper pair of 8 foot sc's. When I was waiting 5 months for Klaus to build me some Kismet monos I bought the Aaron on a whim after reading a fellow member here said it bested a Wells Innamorata. It's a great amp and a part of me would like to keep it as it works really well with a passive preamp but I have only one system I use as opposed to a lot of guys here who have multiple rooms and systems in their house.

I also have a pair of Klaus' Kismet monos, but don't have the amps close to the speakers so I'm using 7' Triode Wire Labs SCs. Did you experiment with the 2 options, long ICs and short SCs vs long SCs and short ICs? What combination have you ended up with?

Sorry for the long delay, I ended up with 4' IC's and 4' SC's.

T2T, Thanks for following up, I guess I was thinking of under 2' SCs being short. You made a rational compromise with the lengths.
