Break in period - titan
« on: 3 Dec 2004, 08:24 am »
Hi,

I have been thinking about getting a titan for about 2 years :)  however, i finally decided to take avantage of the 10% discount and purchased it.  Thanks ACI!  I hear good things about the titan and I sure hope that it blends well with my B&W 603s and 602s.  How long does it take to break in a new titan?  I plan on using it for home theater and music

any advise will be much appreciated

When I got my Force I had them running everyday for about 10 hours while we were out of the house. I played them fairly hard for a week like this before taking my time with a more careful setup. You'll most certainly be able to get a perfect match with you B&Ws. Just take your time, follow the directions and come on back here for advice as you progress.

I used to own the Titan before I purchased the Jag / LFM combo. As I recall it took about 60 hours before the Titan really sang.

For the Titan I took to the Austin listening session. Mike asked that I get at least 60 hours on it first.
