SOLD:Harbeth Compact 7 ES3 in Rosewood - SOLD
« on: 22 Nov 2016, 06:04 pm »
On offer is a pair of Harbeth Compact 7-ES3s in Rosewood, excellent condition with all original packing materials and documentation.
I got these in January this year from the original owner, who bought them brand new from an authorized dealer in September 2015 (he moved to a headphone setup shortly after). So these are really just over a year old, and still in great shape.

Am only selling them to raise funds for a large incoming purchase. They are deserving of their reputation as being the best bang-for-the-buck Harbeths (admittedly I am a Harbeth fan and still own another model). I do foresee myself buying a pair again in the future when the situation permits, so they have my full endorsement.

Retail price is $SOLD for the Rosewood finish.

Now asking: SOLD   -- for essentially a year-old pair of C7s.

Paypal fees to be paid by the buyer (unless using Friends and Family), or pickup in SE Michigan is possible.

I wish I had the money, but I lost my contract photo job, as the studios biggest client went Chpt 7.

I think these are just fantastic, warm musical speakers. Yep, they are a bit pricey......not your selling price...they're just a fairly expensive speaker to start.

But you get that glorious British midrange sound, with more detail and low end extension than a similar ProAc (which still like a lot) or even the earlier variants of the compact 7. However, I only got a brief listen.

I envy you sir owning them, and good luck with sale.

Thank you for the kind words drphoto!

I moved up to the Compact 7s from P3s in order to get more scale and impact, and had no regrets, apart from the fact that I am unable to hold on to them for longer.

Bump for a price drop -- essentially shipping for free now.
