Has anyone seen the new Tarzan yet? I loved the books when I was a kid, and the older attempts were just sad. The preview fight between Tarzan and his hated enemy, the leader of his little ape band looked epic!

My wife and I had to kill some time a few weeks ago on vacation and decided to go in and see it on a friend's recommendation. We were actually pleasantly surprised, a decent storyline and some beautiful cinematography featuring the wilds of the Congo. The ending was a little bombastic, but it's Tarzan after all. I doubt it will win any critical awards, but it was a good show and we both liked it.

I saw it at a drive in last weekend and due to technical difficulties didn't get any sound in my car. Interestingly, the dialogue was unneeded and I could still follow the movie perfectly. What that tells you about the plot or cinematography is up to you to decide.

Saw it a few weeks ago as a reward for our hard work at my job.  Everyone liked it, very well done for the genre.

I just rented the Blu-ray. I thought the quality of the picture and sound were excellent!! I enjoyed the movie !!
