UPDATE: Price lowered. Recent ebay auction ended at $691 for a pair in poor condition, including scratches and one with the faceplate logos scratched off. This is a much, much nicer pair. I have not found a local buyer so far, so I am making these available to ship. Buyer pays all shipping and fees. Each box is big and heavy, and shipping across country (with proper insurance) is $140 for both boxes.

A pair of highly regarded Musical Fidelity M250 monoblock amps are available for only $950 $900 (originally $2400) for both. These powerhouses were designed by Musical Fidelity to be “non-temperamental, bomb-proof” and are effectively monoblock versions of their more famous Nu-Vista M3 stereo amp, minus the tube. I used the M250’s for many years on a variety of speaker systems, including electrostatic panels, and they handled even the most difficult loads with aplomb. I have now switched 100% to active crossover speakers which require many channels of amplification, and although I planned to keep the M250’s forever, I don’t foresee going back to needing 2 channels.


I am the original owner. These are in really great condition, perfect working order. If you are in the SF Bay Area (zipcode 94610), I would be happy to demo them, although I only have one pair of regular stereo speakers, and because they are easy to drive, wouldn’t show off the amps well.


Original boxes (including double box for shipping) and manuals. I also have a matching Musical Fidelity A3cr preamplifier, also in perfect working order. I am planning on keeping it (as it has a great phono section), but could bundle it with the monoblocks for an additional $500.
