I've seen positive comments about use of the Tara Labs speaker cable, in the AKSA N+ review tread. Even Hugh sang a few verses of praise.  Is it too strong to conclude this is the preferred cable for an AKSA?

No, Fred, not too strong - I do recommend the Tara Labs speaker cable!

Quote from Occam's post some time back:

The speaker cables that are shipping with the Touring Amp are the Tara Phase II with TFA return. Hardly a 'beast', but a rather pedestrian solid core based cable. Out of 'production' for over 5 years, Tara repeatedly ressurects them and sell at excellent prices, first through AudioAdvisor, and now though the Cable Company -

a terminated 10' pair is $100.

FWIW, these were since the late 80's, a class A bargain cable reccomended by Stereophile.

Does anyone mind if I sing the praises of QED's Silver Anniversary speaker wire?

No?

Good. Great value. Sounds great. Not too fat. Silver plated copper. Very pretty too.

And very widely available as well.

I have been very happy with Vampire Wire STIII and also the Naim NACA5 which is readily available for about $5/foot.
