I need to start looking for some speaker stands for my newly ordered Melody/Ref 1 package. Any suggestions for a good match from those of you who own these speakers?

Osiris stand. Very solid and perfect match with the Ref1.

Awesome buy on the Ref's. I'm sure you're going to love them, they're a teriffic speaker for $1500 and the deal you got is just silly (even if they're rosewood instead of BEM).

As for the stands, I agree w/ F-100, 100%. The Osiris stands are the best I've seen, and plenty of Ref owners use them. If those are too expensive for you, or just too hard to find, then these ones from partsexpress.com are nice too.

also vsa makes a well built stand called the (vr stand) thats pretty nice for the money.its can also be filled with sand.

Yes...there seem to be  two CD players to be offered by Mark: The CD-1 with a price tag of around US$1,400 and the XCD-88 AKA Music Hall CD-25 or Shanling S-100. The price? US$299,00 if you are part of AV123 "family" (and you are, since you are now the owner of the REFs)
