This album recently came out on SACD. It's a complete concert of Hendrix in 1970. I'm sure some people will remember the original LP "Band of Gypsys" which was edited down from those series of concerts.

I can fully recommend the SACD since it is more dynamic than the regular CD and the HDTracks 24/96 (DR program backs this up). All around a terrific sounding release

So the SACk-Dee is a different mastering than the 24/96 PCM?

Don't know about the download but the DSD file from the SACD sounds good

Apparently yes. I asked Acoustic Sounds if there was any chance it would be made available as a download: they said it's possible, but has to be negotiated.
