After losing my dedicated listening room due to family issues, and having to move my system into a shared living space, I've gotten hooked on headphones for my personal Hifi fix.
I went overboard on headphone purchasing, and I need to sell off one of my headphones to recover all of the expenditure.
Up for sale is a pair of Hifiman HE1000 V1s that I purchased from Crutchfield in mid July of this year. They are in very good condition, and will ship with all of the accessories, cables, boxes, and manual that came from the factory.
There are probably only about 200 hours on the pair. I left them running on and off for a couple of weeks to burn in the drivers, and after that, have been switching between my other headphones.
Sound wise, they are quite excellent. They are beautifully relaxed, refined, and detailed; the music just oozes out of the drivers right into your ears. It has been said before multiple times, but these headphones are an excellent jack of all trades. I have used them for all varieties of music, and immensely enjoyed them during gaming as well.
New Retail was $3000. Current V1 retail is around $2300.
