Candela: AXPONA 2015 demo model. I took it home from the rack when the event wrapped. Many of you heard this preamp at the show or have read reviews of the room in event coverage. The AXPONA room sounded fantastic and the unit was brought straight to my dedicated listening room and has not moved since. The Candela is loaded with virtually every option, and of course it's sonic performance reflects Klaus' confidence in using it to showcase his company @ AXPONA. Specs include:
- Remote option (Klaus was using a Symphonic Line remote at the show, so this unit comes with a Symphonic Line branded remote. Functions as designed)
- HT Bypass
- Factory upgraded tube sockets
- Chrome knobs
- Upgraded Amperex 12AU7 Long Plate D Getter Foil Strip NOS tubes from Brent Jessee recordings
I believe Klaus also mentioned it had a tape output or bypass, but I'm not sure as I've never used it.

Khartago Extreme SE+++: SOLD
Purchased approximately 2 years ago. It was checked-over and biased in 2015 and is performing to spec. The power switch on the back is not as flush as it could be, but performs flawlessly and Klaus did not think it needed attention. Note that it has the upgraded, backlit faceplate, matching the Candela. Original box, manual, and packing included.
As the Candela was a show sample, I do not have the original box. I will have it professionally packed and insured by my local UPS store.
I would rate the condition conservatively as an "8", by OCD audiophile standards. I am sure there are minor handling marks, a bit of finger prints/oil, but most non-hifi people would consider them at least "9", or "as new".
