I think we saw a couple of the Acora on display at the SW Audiofest in Dallas earlier this year. They're definitely statement pieces, but they're very different speakers with very different design philosophies behind them.
As far as cabinet flex, it's essentially a non-issue on the NX-Otica as it is and open-baffle speaker, so there's no build up of pressure in the same way that there is in a traditional sealed or ported speaker, plus it's still well braced and lines with NoRez.
As far as bass response on the the NX-Otica & NX-Treme is really designed to be be used with the Double Trouble subs for fast, tight clean bass flat to 20Hz.
The use of multiple drivers in the bass also means each woofer is only doing 1/4 or 1/8 the work, and for the mids, they're doing 1/2 the work. It makes for a really fast and effortless sound.
While in the SRC-1 has one woofer which has to do all of the work on the midrange and bass at the same time. the SRC-2 is a 2.5 way design so both woofers are sharing the bass load and the upper woofer plays both bass and mids, crossing to the tweeters.
