Half a mm shouldn't make any real difference.

.5mm = .020 inch.  That's the diameter, which only leaves an extra .010 inch extra gap around the circumference.

Hi,

If you change the tweeter to a different model won't you need to alter the xover?

That crease in the tweeter can be fixed relatively easily by getting a vacuum cleaner and placing it over the tweeter and sucking it out.  It might save you some dollars if the tweeter is working okay and its just the cosmetic issue that your worried about.

Did you ever get an answer about the Grill Posts?  My son just knocked over my Sapphire III and the two top posts snapped off.  I tried gluing them back together but it didn't take.
