My Tivoli One Radio.

G'day all, I have a few of these in different applications and I admit to loving the sound of this little table radio.  Perhaps the sound quality is a touch euphonic but I find myself listening to it just as much as my 'proper' Hi Fi gear.  I admit to being a long time fan of radio generally including Ham (Amateur) radio and Hi Fi AM reception, and I obtain a lot of listening pleasure from 'listening to the radio', and the Tivoli One is a great radio to listen to.  Regards, Felix (vk4fuq).

I don't want to derail your post,
but talking about small table top radio,
I have a Grace Mondo and love the sound.
Sorry, back to normal scheduling.

I almost bought a Tivoli, really nice looking line of small radios.
but I wanted to have an Internet Radio with a choice of more than 15,000 stations

Yep. I've got a Logitech UE Smart Radio (wireless clock radio, access to 12,000 stations, one woofer/one tweeter, 6 hour battery) that we use for background music in our rather large living room (open floor plan).  It replaced my two generation old audio gear - much less clutter and easier to use.  And yes, quite enjoyable for what it is.

With the main rig I'm listening for fidelity.  With the UE I'm only listening to the music.  There's a lot to be said for the simply pleasures in life.

I agree the Model One is a great radio. I'm fortunate that there's a local PBS station that covers about 75% of the types of music I like to listen to with very few commercials. If I want internet radio, I just plus my phone into the Model One. I also use the PAL when I need portability.

I've used mine daily for the last 15 years, at work.   One of the best audio purchases I've ever made.

FM has dwindled quite a bit here in Houston, so I mostly listen to digital files through the aux input.

Been using my Tivoli One for, jeez, six years or so now. Pretty well pleased except for the very inconveniently placed rear panel headphone jack. If I had enough chutzpah I'd open mine up and drill a hole in the lower left corner of the front panel and mount it where it belongs. But theres a lot less risk connecting the line out to an amp input.

Good reception, actual analog tuning, the LED tuning 'eye' is a nice touch, and the sound is about as good as you can expect from a 3" speaker.
