Power to your digital amp

The Preamp to Amp cable is van den hul D102 with Eichmann bullets.

Grounding wise, I'm doing nothing special. Earthed items are plugged into earthed outlets. I'm using a couple of distribtion blocks with surge suppression.

This problem only occurs with the Fi X 2A3 based single ended tube amp. Other amps on hand don't exhibit this problem.

I realise that makes this totally off topic, so would appreciate it if you PM me, if you have any more suggestions.

I did locate a power cord which already had a ferrite clamp on it and this significantly reduced the RFI, to almost inaudible levels. I've ordered some more from Parts Express.

Are there any detrimental effects of liberally sprinkling these Ferrite clamps around?

I've tried defeating the gound to this, which is how I've dealt with ground loops in the past; but it didn't help with this RFI problem.

Thanks again
