Up for sale are my treasured GR Research N2X high performance monitors.
In case you are not familiar with this amazing speaker, these are considered by many to be the best two way kit ever designed (by Danny Richie) who has many awards and does design for other hallowed speaker companies as well. The N2X features the top shelf NEO BG planer which has the speed of a ribbon without any peaks, issues with weird impedances and sounds quite lush and accurate very much like some of the very best ribbons. Most consider it a big step up from any dome tweeter regardless of price. They are very easy to drive and play into the low 40hz range without strain. (Danny designs all his speakers to have both amazing frequency response, clean waterfall response and benign impedance to work with a multitude of amps both tube and solid state. The woofer is a custom design built for him to his own specifications as well.)
This pair of N2X are in Piano Black enclosures with the very best Sonic Cap Platinum capacitors and the By-pass caps as well. These were professionally built by Ruben of Fallen Enclosures for me at a cost of $1250. I would rate them conservatively at a 8/10. There are no marks or cosmetic issues whatsoever.
