You know how working in an upscale clothing store doesn't necessarily mean you can afford to do all your shopping there? Well, I've been working with Hugh for several years now and have had the pleasure of being a dealer for ACA, Melody, Onix, and some other things along the way, and naturally I have had some nice things come and go as a result. (I have some nice Melody pieces in stock now, as a matter of fact

) But, that doesn't mean I can just have the best of the best for myself all the time. I had enjoyed a set of Trinity LCR's for my HT for a while, but when I heard the new Seraphim a while back I knew I had to eventually get me some of that.
When we debuted the Seraphim Prime, Hugh told me that there was a set of cabinets (1 of 5 total) leftover from the original run of hand painted rosewood finish that we commissioned before changing to a different process that resulted in the production finish for the Seraphim Prime. (which is also gorgeous!) I'm a sucker for the red speakers and I have veneered rosewood surrounds, so after Hugh showed me some pictures I knew it was time. Since a dealer is also a customer, and in this case a giddy one who has recieved a massive upgrade to his own listening setup, I thought I'd share some unboxing pictures.
The big day!

The joy of liftgates

That's a lot of stuff I'm gonna have to carry...

Hello lovely

Bases in a separate wood crate. Nope, not going to post the crossover design on the internet.

Assembly finished and safely arrived in the living room. That's clearly closer to the wall than is ideal, but they seem to be coping fairly well. Love that reflection!

Gorgeous custom paint job!

And the gratuitous sunset shot
