This is a very rare and now un-obtanium loaded version of the Bent TAP-X, which has four Dave Slagle autoformers inside, fully balanced input to output. It has 2 balanced/4 single ended inputs, 2 balanced/2 single ended outputs and operates seamlessly switching among them. This one also has the deeper case, which permits a DIYer to add other functions if so desired. The TAP-X provides 1db steps and +7db gain, though passive, and is easily the most transparent preamp I've ever owned. It comes with the very classy and heavy aluminum remote that switches all front panel functions.

I've moved on to an integrated Tap-X cousin (also with Slagle autoformers) so the TAP-X has been sitting in a box on a shelf. I finally decided it's time to let it go.

$2500 firm, plus fees and shipping, which is basically the cost of parts.

Tom, You have shown me I have a lot to learn about packaging. You did a fantastic job, now even a smudge.
