Hello. I have a great sounding pair of Volent VL-2s for sale. They are all that the reviews say. Electrostatic clarity top to bottom with the dynamics of cones and bass of a floor stander.
They use a ribbon tweeter and a woofer that seamlessly blends with it. These easily go down to 38 hz and I figure a -6db at 32 hz. Most will not need a sub with these as they perform like floor standers yet give you options, like killer computer speakers, which I have done and let me tell you the joy you get in that setup.
Speakers are in good condition expect I just noticed the a slight tear and some discoloration spots in the leather, both fixable. When I replaced a woofer, it had some funny noise, I must have damaged the leather. I don't know how as I am very careful. I bought two woofers from Volent and have an extra one that goes in the deal. It's a $500.00 woofer, and one of the worlds best mid woofers. Price is fair at $1995.00 U.S. plus shipping. I am in Canada but will ship to the U.S. Have done that lots in this game of Audio Foolery. I have enjoyed these speakers very much but it's time to sample another type of ice cream. Speakers have seen light use.
