High quality single ended, directly heated triode, parafeed 2A3 3.5 watt per channel stereo amp. Original owner, purchased as a kit. Good to VG condition. $625 + shipping.
Tweaks include Audiocap Theta coupling caps, bypassed with Russian military surplus teflon, Mundorf Silver/Oil parafeed caps, Teflon/gold 4-pin tube sockets, Cardas rhodium binding posts. An Audioquest right-angle IEC inlet adapter is included for convenience.
Tubes that come with the amp are a pair of Sovtek 2A3s and a Raytheon 12AT7WA triple mica black plate (purchased NOS). I estimate that I have about 200 hours on the Sovteks, and 300-400 hours on the 12AT7. Herbie's tube dampers are included.
The base rests on Herbie's black Iso-Balls in matching cups, also included.
The Stereomour will drive my Tekton M-Lores (95 dB @1M,1w) to near reference levels in a 14x19 foot room without (audible) clipping.
I use it as a power amp with only input 2 connected (no selector switch) going to the Alps 100K volume pot.
A delightful music machine. I'm switching to 88 dB Salk SongTowers and so can't use this in my new setup.
PDF instructions on disc included.
