I really dislike it when today's film makers try to make a film look historical by adding scratches and other 'old timey' film effects. And I really dislike this vinylfied idea, I mean what's the point, really. No, I haven't heard it yet but I really don't want to waste my time.

Maybe the only thing worse is a music producers "Warmers", junk resistive devices that add a "Imagined Grain" to CD's, the sound is the fantasy many have about what records might have sounded like, for folks who have never really heard them.
