I’m the second owner of these amps which are the newer version with the gold circuit boards. They’re in excellent cosmetic condition and perform flawlessly. As is true for all Dared VP-20s, the volume controls are a bit noisy when in use, but have no effect on the sound quality. The amps came to me with a quad of US made old stock Tung-sol 5881 power tubes, a pair of old stock Cifte 12AU7s, a Phillips 12AX7 and Chinese 12AX7. I bought a matched quad of cryo treated new Reflector 6P3S-E power tubes and a NOS pair of Amperex ECC83/12AX7 tubes [AMPEREX Codes of i 65 over Delta 6 L 4 and i 65 over Delta 7 B 1; tested as follows. . . 103 / 104 & 104 / 104]. The amps will convey with all tubes which will be shipped in a second box. I have the factory shipping box/packing materials, main power cord and umbilical power cords.
