Parts purchased new in May of 2012 from Hypex, updated Hypex xlr input wiring harness added in late 2013. Great sounding amps assembled with much attention to detail and many upgraded parts. These have run perfect from day one without a single issue. There are a couple very small imperfections in the face plates - hard to photograph. I rate these at a solid 8/10. You won't be disappointed with the cosmetics or the performance.
Cases: Modu Galaxy with 10mm front plate. Size is 230x280x42mm. Back plates laser cut by Front Panel Express.
Resonance control sheeting applied to cases and covers (see pics).
Speaker Posts: Cardas silver/rhodium/gold plated.
Power Inlet: Furutech.
Fuses: Acme cryoed.
Also included: Two extra back panels for cases, extra fuses (if I can locate them, never needed them).
These amps are dead quiet (I used them in a bedroom system where no hum or hiss is tolerable, left on all the time). They are super dynamic with great bass control, which is particularly appreciated in rooms with sloppy bass. They let the details through without sounding grainy or etched. Run extremely cool. Great performance to price ratio.
