Netflix' abstracts - badly written? Can you do better?

I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks the netflix abstracts are badly written. For example, for Terminator 2 it says

"A familiar cyborg returns to protect his future's savior. The new model has other ideas. This isn't a love story."

Does this actually capture the movie? "This isn't a love story" - who would have thought it was? Someone who hadn't seen the movie would have no idea what the "new model" is. The phrase "protect his future's savior" - it takes work to figure out what that means.

Suppose that you had read that line above, would you have been able to guess which movie it applied to?

Any suggestions for a rewrite?

You're right. That abstract is horrible. I normally use themoviedb.org or imdb.com

https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/280-terminator-2-judgment-day?language=en

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0103064/

Believe there are services that allows straight links to these db from the netflix interface

Yeah, it's horrible, but "This isn't a love story" is pure sarcasm, as is the whole abstract; an inside joke.  Clearly aimed at those who know the whole story.

Do they really need an abstract?  It's a decades old movie with write ups all over the net.  They're just having some fun.

The other night all the abstracts were describing some teenage love story. Same one on every movie. Thought it was bugged but maybe not.
