Very sad indeed, and way too young.  Strangely, I just finished watching the two part Eagles biography last week on Netflix, which rekindled my love for the band.  I just finished listening to them most of the weekend, having not listened to them in years.  My wife described it as almost eerie that Glenn Frey died the next day.

Frey/Henley was truly a Lennon/McCartney caliber partnership.

Such a shame.

Completely agree. IMO, the Eagles are the greatest American band. So glad I was able to see them 7 times over the years.

A 5PM PST (right now!) this evening, CNN is running lengthy a documentary about the Eagles. This showing will be the first of two parts. Rare footage, home movies and concert footage will be shown.

Apparently, CNN has decided to run the snow storm coverage instead. That sucks! :bawl:

I watched the History of the Eagles on Netflix.  Lots of vintage footage.  Highly Recommended even if your not a huge Eagles fan.

There is various storms every year, dont expectd quality music from a popular channel.
