Regarding that body blade device, I used a very similar device over 20 years ago and it damaged my right shoulder. I lived with that pain for over 10 years until 2 prolotherapy injections gave me at least 80 to 90 % improvement. Please use caution if you start having pain. I believe it was the very fast movement of the blade that tore the shoulder tissue.

I was introduced to it by the PT at the orthopedic surgeons practice, they use it as a rotator cuff rehab tool and recommend continued use to build up shoulder strength and minimize future injuries.  If anyone has a rotator cuff issue I wouldn't use it without expert supervision.  The exercises PT's give are critical to recover from surgery and non-surgical injuries, most folks show up for their PT's appointment for their rehab and do nothing in between appointments, this slows down the recovery process.  I've been in both camps, the last time (this year) I stepped up the exercises between appointments and was told it reduced my recovery time by over 6 months, it saved money and time but hurt like crazy!  The other issue with rotator cuff issues is sleep, laying on your injured shoulder sends a strong wake up call and I was destroyed with the sleep disturbance....
