I vote for the LCD's, but that because the LCD2's I own are my favorites. :)

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Hmmm... I don't recognize the one to my far left (closest to the back of the couch)

( Nevermind, the hinge on the earcup tells me it's a Beyerdynamic that I'm guessing you had before the other
three )

I think you need to add a HIFIMAN model to that collection.  Line up is looking kinda thin.  :thumb:

If it's not one of the "newer" Hifiman's it might tip the couch over ("Help... My Hifiman's tipped the couch over
& I can't get up)

I would start with the Grados.  I know how those sound.  I have never heard any of the others.

Tough call!

If that's a DT880 on the left, have you tried both velour and pleather pads?

For comfort the velour ear pads have it hands down.  The can on the far left is the Byer DT 990's 600 Ohm version.

I picked the Grado RS1's for Trance music listening.  Out of this world good.  The RS1's couple very well with the Schiit Lyr.

For those into Trance mix this is outstanding.

I've used Grado-225 with a Valhalla 2, thought I've not tried them with my Lyr 2. The Lyr though is mostly for my LCD2, and its wonderful combination. :)
