Siegfried's W-Frame dipole woofer project originally designed for his Phoenix speakers, I have used these woofers with a number of different DIY speaker designs. The drivers are
Sonic Craft SCC300 12" sub woofers and have characteristics well suited for dipole operation. The woofers measure flat to 20Hz in my listening room and provide very realistic low frequency reproduction. Two woofers enclosures in Cherry veneered cabinet along with the low-pass EQ unit. Nice machined aluminum points included.
I would rate the condition of the cabinets a solid 7 on a scale of 10. No major visible defects. Additional photos available on request.
Prefer local Seattle, WA sale but would consider shipping them at buyers expense (weigh ~70lbs each). Asking $*** for the set of woofers (4 drivers) and the EQ unit with outboard power supply. These would be a terrific addition to a set of Magnepans or other monitor type speaker.
