PBN Montana EPS-2 Speakers

I thought I had these sold but the transaction fell through so I'm having to relist my ad.  Rats!

Serial numbers 06143 and 06144, made in 2006.  Rosewood veneers.  Very good condition.

All drivers are fine and work as they should.

There are a few light scratches/scuffs, etc. on the sides and backs of the veneers where they are not normally seen.  Even when one is looking for them they can barely be seen or felt.  None of the scratches/scuffs are through the veneer.  The veneers are not faded or discolored.

There are a few small boo-boos on the black feet but they can easily be painted over.

These things are not a big deal at all but I want to let everyone know about them.  I'm not the original owner; these incidents occurred with a previous owner.

I have the original wood crates.  Crate dimensions are 57” x 20” x 23”.  The weight of one speaker in its crate is 220 pounds. 

I have the spikes but I've never used them.  I've never even opened the box they were shipped in.

The price (within the Continental United States) is $2,500.00 PLUS shipping, insurance and a 1% PayPal fee.

Well, let's see...a new pair is $10,000...mine are $2,500...hmmm...

The speakers will have to be shipped via truck freight because of the dimensions and weight.  Expect shipping and insurance to be close to $500.00 or more depending on the shipper.  Yeah, I know, that's a lot of money but shipping is crazy expensive.

If you can pick up the speakers at my place that would be great; there won't be any fees but I'll want CASH.  You'll most likely need a full size pickup or van.

Boy, these sure are a tough sell!  Is this the case with PBN speakers in general or just my pair?

Yeah, I don't know. I think your price is just fine. The problem is that when people figure that 20% of the price goes to shipping it becomes a tough sell. Especially, as with many on these forums, they like to try them and flip them as they try out the next thing. Shipping costs make that prohibitive.
If only you were located close by for pickup, I would even entertain looking at these. Which brings us to the other "issue" for many. These are BIG!!!
