The Musical Surroundings Phenomena 2 has been updated to a "2+" recently.  Any owners or experience out there?  Curious about the performance compared to its predecessors or alternative choices in the $750 price range.  Many thanks for your comments.  I will be using with a Rega RP6.

It phono-menal - 

Your getting 90% of the SQ of the Nova w/ basically the same board sans the battery power supply.  I've listened to both back to back.  I honestly can't think of nor have heard a better phono preamp under $1k anywhere.  At $750 it's a steal.

Thanks for the comparison!  I have heard good things about the "2" and was hoping for a high-value play.  Seems like a good fit for the Rega RP6.
