Burning Hi-Rez DVD-Audio discs or Blu-Ray on a Mac Mini

I would like the burn my High Resolution downloads (24/96 and 24/192) to a DVD-Audio disc with my Mac for playback on my 2-channel disc player (which will do DVD-A and Blu-Ray)

1) Can anyone tell me what software will do this?

**** PLEASE NOTE - I do not mean DVD-V with audio only on it either, so please don't go there. ****

I know burning to DVD-Audio is possible because I have had success in the past burning HDTracks downloads using DiscWelder Bronze.  Unfortunately, that program has been shut down by the software company and I cannot reload it to my current machine because it won't allow registration even though I purchased it at the time.

Circlina HD-Audio Solo Ultra looks to be Windows only based, and when I run it in Fusion, it won't recognize that a disc is in the drive

Burn worked for me a few times, but just stopped for some reason.  I have thrown out about a dozen discs because it starts but then almost immediately closes the session and renders the disc useless.

DVD-Audiophile looks good until I try to open the app.  It then tells me the app is damaged and needs to be put in the trash.

2) Would it be easier for me to just buy a $100 Windows machine with a burner drive and Circling only for this purpose?  Having not used Circlina, I am hesitant to go this way for fear of buying a paperweight and waisting more time and money if not successful.

3) And one last question - Is there a technical advantage/disadvantage to DVD-A discs vs an Audio Blu-Ray?  Would burning to Blu-Ray be an alternative and if so, which software for that too?

I have searched a lot trying to figure this out, so I hope I get a solid suggestion here - thanks!

Dragon Burn or Roxio (Toast or Popcorn, forget which one). I know Dragon Burn will support Blu-ray drives and almost positive Roxio will too.

I didn't know hardware or media were still available in the DVD-A format. Is the disk the same?

Some commercial DVD-A's are still being released, and DVD-R's and DVD+R's are readily available.  "Universal" players, by definition, will play them.

I was looking to burn dvd-a specifically.  My player, as well as just about any oppo, can play these discs.  It seems to be easy to do on a windows machine, but I was struggling with the mac.

I want to download the hi rez music and play it from a disc instead of my computer and adding a dac.  This is why I wanted to go this way, and I have some 24bit/192kHz music.

Now I have the tools and it is super easy thanks to help from some members here.  Go here if interested:
