SALK Songtowers - Bamboo w/Extras - KS
« on: 18 Jan 2016, 05:44 pm »
SOLD LocallyI love these speakers. I really want to keep them. I love them so much that I bought the designer, Dennis Murphy's flagship speaker — The Philharmonic 3's.

These are the amazingly reviewed Salk Songtowers. These speakers have won TAS speaker of the year multiple times and many other awards, all of which are outlined on Salk's website linked below. There is also a video at the bottom of this post of Jim Salk talking about the magic of the Songtowers.

Salk Sound Website - Songtowers

The base price of the Songtowers new is $1999. The all bamboo construction adds an additional $300. The Sound City Outriggers were $262. Total new price of almost $2600 before shipping on the speakers

These include the stock plinths (satin black,) all original paperwork and magnetic grills. The grills have a couple little snags in the black cloth, but still look good. All original packing and boxes.

These work great in all sizes of rooms. Even though they are rear ported they can be placed as close as 12" to the rear wall. The put out amazing, tight, bass considering their size. No sub needed in most cases. Really great speakers.

SOLD
Local pickup in Wichita, KS would be preferred, but they can be shipped. It wouldn't be cheap.
