mresseguie has to finish packing SO if he would be good enough to announce the lucky winner, he can still make it to the airport in time.
Maybe.

My wife had to pick the number and she said 44 so the winner is the Esteemed Thunderbrick!
Please PM mresseguie pronto as he has the swag and is also moving out of his house at the moment (one step ahead of the crowd of irate villagers).

Thank you, one and all!

Congrats to Thunderbrick!

The irate villagers are running round in circles just like in Young Frankenstein.

I'm out of the house and living on the street...well....perhaps we are staying with friends.

Thanks, ArthurDent.

The number was 44, so the brick got it.

I think I'm going to have a lot of fun in Taiwan. For audio, I'm going to have  my Mac Mini, Squeezebox Touch, a Nuprime IDA-8 integrated amplifier/DAC, a PI Audio DigiBUSS, and a pair of Fritz Speakers LS/5 monitors all connected together by my Triode Wire Labs 10+ PC, RCA ICs, and speaker cables. This combination is going to ROCK Taiwan!

I'll post pics once everything is set up.

A big THANK YOU, JOHNR! :thumb:

Hiya, Mudslide.

Yup. We're still in Corvallis. We'll be back in March for a brief visit. Then, we will drive to Texas for a month of fun and exploration. Then, off to New Mexico for a month followed by a month in Colorado.

Lol!

Jay, you're funny. All this travelling is called travel living. We get to spend approximately 1 month in each location to see all the sites - scenery, hiking, natural beauty, beautiful women, good food, museums, culture, etc. Then, we head over to the next place. We plan to do it from April to September or October (or sooner if we tire of it all). Then, we'll fly back to Taiwan for the winter. Our home in Oregon is rented out to a doctor. The income from that pays our property taxes, insurance and much of our travel living expenses. Hopefully, the good doctor decides to live there a second year.

Now, there are certain other opportunities which may present themselves during our travels. LSAF just happens to be held at the end of April/beginning of May. We will leave for N.M. a day or two after LSAF. Hmm. Yup. I might get to visit Danny Richie if I am polite enough, or I might visit AC members who live in the area. We will be in B.C. In August for a lengthy visit. There's a very cool audiophile guy in Kelowna who i am looking forward to visiting again.

Good times...
