Gary was a very nice person to spend a little time to talk with.I cannot say enough about his quality of work he puts in to his product.
Danny good to see you again and think the happy new owner of those Alphas will enjoy them as well.

I can get you a few prices on finish.
Finished in Mapa Burl veneer Danny has one left from the show complete
$599.00 I believe was the show special. Mapa single cabinet.
Cube cabinets in Mapa
$400.00 each plus drivers,Amp
$375.00 each in Block Makore
Custom angles as on the Makore 4 cuts each side
$500.00 each
This cabinet in Makore with all the angles is a lot of veneer work.

At this time we have a supply of close to 40 different veneers available to us.
This range from
Anigre,figured Cherry,Blistered Cherry,Waterfall Makore,Pomele Bubinga,Waterfall Sapele,Rosewoods(India,American,Brazilian)
Curly Maple,Figured Maple
Koa
to Walnut burls.
If there is a look you are wanting in the cabinet we can supply you with a few shots of the veneer you can look at.
Nice to do custom cabinets away from Maple,Cherry ,OAK

When looking at all these veneers remember a few things.
These are real wood veneer no backing.Paper or wood.
Entails a lot more work to apply as well as finish.

I was REALLY pleased with how well it integrated with the A/V-1's at the show.

With a -3db down at 20Hz nothing escaped their capabilities.

With the A/V-1's being -3db down at 55Hz, we set the sub-woofer crossover to 40Hz, and with the gradual 12db per octave slope on the sub-woofer crossover it was a seamless match.

Al's Solid 1.25" thick MDF boxes lined with his special (and heavy) dampen material allowed only the music to pass through not cabinet resonances.

We had LOTS of very positive comments on it.

Several said it was one of the best integrations and overall sound that they had ever heard from a sub-sat system.

It made me proud.

Looks like Al just answered the cabinet prices question.

Danny,
These subs look great. However, they seems to be different to the cabinet design you posted, for example one sub seems to have two PR-12; is it because these are active version? Thanks.

No the cabinets both have a singlr PR and driver.
Cabinet volume the same just a cube.
Takes up less floor space and easyer to package and ship.
Plus looks smaller.
