Up for your consideration is a gently used pair of Odyssey Stratos SE+ w. Glass ceiling Upgrade.  The anodized cases are actually very clean - flash on my cheap camera makes cases look dusty/dirty. No dents, damage, or signs of wear (other than a burned out light on one of the amp faceplate - easy $1.00 fix).

This was the top-of-the-line amp offering from Klaus prior to the introduction of the Kismets. Original price for these were $4,200 - 4,900 upon introduction in 2007.

I know from communicating with Klaus very recently that upgrading these to Kismet status will be around $1,500. I would do this in a heartbeat except that I'm getting out of this hobby. As you may know, NIB Kismet monos now run around $7,300+.  Klaus also puts them in Stratos cases for $5,200 - $5,400. So, if you have the funds, the $1,500 upgrade is the way to go. But, they also sound amazing as-is. So, an upgrade is entirely optional.

Price is $2,000.

Specs (aside from Glass Ceiling upgrade):

• Additional 60,000µF memory bank for 180,000µF total (each)
• >120 amps current delivery
<0.04% THD (not audible)
• >800 continuous damping factor
• Input impedance 22K ohms
• DC offset <1 mV

Among other things, the upgrade consists of a better, 2x thick "blue" board and enhanced wiring and power supply that produces 360,000 mfd per channel. There are other improvements that Klaus can best shed light on.
