I am fortunate to have a Pre/Pro that was my first choice. I am still totally happy with it's performance except for not having 6.1 decoding. My power amp luckily is a 6 channel version.
I recently added a 6.1 decoder, the CS-3X Jr from Smart Devices. The unit works great. I'm surprised at how well it works even on Prologic II and multi channel DVD-A material.
The best part is the price, it used to retail for $299 USD, it's now $129. The demand for it has dropped now that virtually every Pre/Pro//Receiver sold does 6.1.
