Last weekend I had the pleasure of visiting a fairly new VMPS dealer, Mr. Larry Kosova in Chicago, IL.
Larry was most gracious to me and my wife while we visited Chicago. I cannot recommend highly enough to go visit him if you ever venture to Chi-town. He lives in a great neighborhood not too far from Wrigley Field with lots of great stores and restaurants walking distance away.
I spent a glorious hour listening to his RM30's with and without the VMPS large subwoofer in his studio-quality soundroom. Everything sounded great, I only wish I could get my RM30's to sound as good. Larry was very helpful showing me the amount of mortite pulled from the PR's (all four of them), explaining room placement, toeing the speakers, tuning the pots, etc. Larry is particularly great in getting through all the audio-tech-speak to explain things in clear understandable terms, probably from all his years spent as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. His audio room is still a work-in-progress but he is making great strides and someday will have a world-class setup, including righteous HT. This guy is on the move.
