I am Wylie Williams, owner of The Speaker and Stereo Store. I closed my store and became a home based business, and am still an authorized dealer for most brands I sold before. The brands people usually seek are B&K, Gallo, Grado, HALO, Harman Kardon, Monitor Audio, Monster Cable, Niles Audio, Parasound, Phase Technology, P S B, Richard Gray Power Company, HALO, Sumiko, and Sunfire. Because I have accounts with many wholesale distributors there are over 100 other brands available to me, so call or email if you have a specific model number in mind.
With no storefront, no stock, no displays, and no staff of salesmen and installers I can’t offer as many services as before, but I can still give honest advice, and my low expenses let me give better prices. Fact is, I usually either beat the internet price or tell you if I can’t. Sometimes people buy from me if I’m only a bit more than the internet because they want to buy from someone they know and trust as opposed to trusting a stranger on the internet.
I demonstrate components by appointment from my home from two systems. The stereo system includes Grado Reference Platinum cartridge, Parasound HALO electronics, IXOS cables, and the new Gallo Acoustics Reference 3 speakers. At present the home theater system has nothing of interest except new Gallo Nucleus HT speaker system, which is a higher fidelity/lower cost alternative to Bose.
I still have speaker parts, and I repair, refoam, recone, and rebuild speakers.
