SOLD: BMC MCCI Phono Stage
« on: 23 Jul 2015, 04:05 pm »
Up for sale is my BMC MCCI phono stage. This is a "hidden gem" in the high-end phono preamp landscape. Fremer's summary in Stereophile: "B.M.C.'s Phono MCCI is exceptional, and easily among the best, if not the best, MC phono preamps available today at any price. Its sound was startlingly good, and in some ways seemed to surpass that of virtually every other phono preamp I've heard, especially in terms of transparency, and of not imposing its own strong character, or any character, on the music."

I am the original owner, purchased directly from Brian at Aaudio Imports. Only selling as I purchased a Straingauge and no longer need a phono stage. I used the MCCI to great effect with a Van Den Hul Frog Gold.

Rated 8 due to two very minor/barely visible nicks as shown in the 2 lower photos. Asking $2,890.00, which includes insured ground transportation in the CONUS and PayPal fees.

Also listed on the "Gon" with photos.

I bet that plays well with my BMC S1 which I regrettably am selling. BMC's are definitely under the radar audio gear.
