This won't come as any surprise to all you Salk owners, but I wanted to add my praise for Jim's excellent customer service. I bought a pair of HT2s from Jim about 3 1/2 years ago when I lived in Michigan (practically in Jim's backyard). The top of one speaker had a small bubbling in the veneer (curly cherry, dyed a deep rose-red) but I figured I would just live with it. Well, last year after we moved to North Carolina, I decided to ask Jim if he could redo the veneer. I drove my speakers to the Capital Audio Fest (where I got to hear the fantastic Exotica 3s - if only I had the room and the cash!) and handed them off to Jim. Jim redid the veneer but couldn't get the dye to quite match what I originally had. So Jim simply made a new pair of speakers for me (without my even asking) at no charge (except I did pay for upgraded caps - Clarity MRs). Jim not only makes a great product, but he will go the extra mile for you. Truly a first class person and a real pleasure to work with.
