EPI 100's are great! I think they tend to get overshadowed by Dynacos, AR's, Advents, etc. The thing is, EPI's have a MUCH more modern, transparent, and dynamic sound than those, like Dynacos. I can see how this may not jive for someone looking for the popular stereotypical "vintage" sound. A couple of years ago, Stereophile had a small list of vintage gear (about 15 components) that not only sounded good, but also measured well. EPI 100's were on that list.

Good luck with the sale. Cool stuff. :thumb:

Ditto on the EPI 100!!

They were the first pair of speakers I ever bought based on my uncle's recommendation, and I regret not having them today. I was gifted a pair of the old EPI inverted dome tweeters and was going to get the Human woofers to build a pair, but one of the tweeters got damaged so that fell by the wayside.

Tempting sale, but I'm trying to clear out some of my equipment right now. I will pass it on to a friend that is looking, however.

Good Luck!
