every now and then i return to http://thewelltemperedcomputer.com/HW/HD_players.html or one of the other pages on Vincent Kars' site to see what he's gathered on  computerized music playing.

I haven't seen much of this page on AC, so thought you might not be too familiar with it, and you'd like to check it out.

Hi Marius,

I had been to the site before but had not visited in a while.  A lot of good stuff there.  I still want to get a grip on building a dedicated audio pc that will outperform my Dell desktop.  I've bookmarked it for future review and reference.
