Howdy Phil,
Yep, thought of that, and if I had free access to the shop tools, I could make such myself.
At one time, and working for the Railroad in Chicago, I could part the Red Sea. Was almost nothing I couldn't accomplish.  Have the knowledge but just no room for Table Saws, and work Tables to assemble, Laminate, etc.

What Id like basically accomplishing, is getting the speakers up just a little, but in an attractive way.  By the time Kenji in Japan got through with me, the Stands would be costing what I paid for the Speakers! LOL  That would be ridiculous.  But many have such "mad money" to expend, I have the money, but not to foolishly expend on such fluff. (would be nice seeing Kenji expand, to an American market, God knows how many JBL Lovers there are here!  The Market exists)

Four Cinder Blocks Painted Black per speaker enclosure, and a sheet the size of the Speaker's Base would accomplish a similar stance of height elevation, that's the basic goal, at a lot less $$$ spent. The speakers are 127 lbs each, so they of course need a solid sturdy Base to sit upon.

And of course another strong back to help me elevate them without a uh oh damaging fubar!

Is the system worth tweaking?  Of course!

The Bryston 7bSST2's basically take no prisoners.  In retrospect, I DID buy the right Amps! My system has lots of potential. My analog front end is sublime, and sounds better than their somewhat dated appearance.
