My Level 7 two box Lampizator DHT dac is up for sale. I'm downsizing. It is the rare two box Level 7 dac. Recently upgraded with generation 5 latest dual mono DSD (128x) and PCM board, the performance should be equivalent to Big 7. It has a more manageable form factor of 17"W x 13"D.

Highlights:
- It contains the latest dual mono DSD and PCM board from Lampizator. Supports PCM upto 32 bit/384 kHz. DSD 64x and DSD 128x.
- Almost 5 years transferrable warranty left.
- Supports tubes like 45, 2a3, 101D, 300B and many other variations. Plenty of flexibility of tailor the sound to your liking via tube rolling. I've used 300B for a bigger dynamic rock and roll sound and also used 45 tubes for vocal/acoustics music. Tremendous response to tube rolling.
- Comes with Jupiter caps.
- The reason this dac is a bargain is the world class volume control. I know people who have ditched their $5-$7k category leader preamp like the following in favor of Lampizator Level 7 analog active volume control:
       - The Coincident Statement Line Stage
       - Tube Research Lab DUDE preamplifier
       - Melody Pure Black 101 preamplifier
       - VTSP-3A(r03) Vacuum Tube Stereo Preamplifier
Unless you use a preamp costing north of $10k, there is a big chance that you'll be more than satisfied with the analog volume control of this dac. Btw, this dac only has spdif and usb input, no analog input. But it can be easily added by Lampizator for a reasonable cost if you wish.

Price is firm at $6295.

I've the original packaging, tubes, remote, umbilical cord etc. Buyer pays for shipping. Paypal add 3% if not using gift. More than welcome to audition and local pick up from 07306.

Not to distract from your awesome DAC sale, but what transport are you using? Thanks.

I've been building a top of the line music server with Paul Pang USB card with OCXO clock, black SATA cable, i-7 CPU, clock upgraded mobo and SSD and all that. However, I've not finished it due to some issue with the mobo. While I'm waiting to get a replacement mobo from Paul Pang, I'm using my trusty old Squeezebox Touch with linear PSU.
