I just downloaded the newest version a few days ago and it seems to sound much better in every way.

Granted, it's for my office system with a decent DAC/Pioneer DSX-V912 (talked about here in AC being a special sounding receiver) through GR Research speakers. I have it set up well but not ideal and I can't turn up the volume very much.

Anyone else hear a difference?

Is this in comparison to jRiver 19 or earlier versions of jRiver 20. I heard a substantial improvement over 19, large enough to justify purchasing jRiver 20, especially when an ASIO driver is used instead of WASAPI.

I downloaded the new version and I can't tell any big difference between 20 and 19.  Still playing with it.

Better than 86?  The changes to 87 are almost all tv view issues (and Italian translation).  It should not sound any different than the last daily update.  What was the version/daily you are referring to?

It was an earlier version from August. So it must have been something else, probably my brain. I take my laptop home frequently, so there are other factors involved.
