For sale is my Octave Integrated Amp V40SE purchased from my local Octave dealer. Those not familiar with Octave it is a relatively new brand to the US but has been hand built in Germany by the Hoffman family for nearly 30 years! Some refer to the build quality of Octave to be on par with Burmester but in a tube variant. Read the many reviews and glowing praise of this integrated amplifier and do not let the 40 Watt rating fool you...this unit has a ton of real clean current to drive your demanding loudspeakers with ease.  Octave Germany imported by Dynaudio USA    (Purchased JAN/2014)    Rock Solid Reliability


The unit includes everything as new: double boxing, Octave bias screwdriver, upgraded metal remote, optional tube cage, manual, SEDs EL34s (midrange magic!) and Gold Lion RE KT88 tubes, (1) Tung Sol RE 12AX7 (optional $1200) Octave "Black Box" and factory power cord.



Condition is a 8/10 (has a few very very small nicks) camera could not pickup(remote has just a few tiny nicks- from moving) but plays and sounds great , and without any issues. tubes have low hours, was using KT90's recently Just upgrading to Tube Pre and Stereo AMP



Octave V40SE and Black Box, was used with Dynaudio C1 MKll speakers, and drove these easily, amp is very quiet (Black Box- lowers noise floor) and has adjustable bias, to adjust to different Tubes (KT88, 6550, EL34, KT90 etc...) recently ran with KT90 Ei (type ll) just glorious!



The V 40 SE features a total of five single-ended (RCA) inputs (including the Home Theatre Bypass input). Outputs included are one RCA Record output, one regulated Preamplifier output and one Loudspeaker output.   drive tubes are (1) 12AX7/ECC83   (1) 6922/ECC88/E88CC    (4)  KT88/6550/KT90/KT66  etc..
