A very good digital source, with a well deserved reputation for smooth, natural sound.

An excellent DAC as is, or may be upgraded to the highly touted DSD for considerably less than the cost of a new unit.

This piece is:

1. Black in color

2. Does not have the "Bridge"

3. Is an aftermarket upgrade to Mk II.

4. Is a clean unit, comfortably meriting an Audiogon 8.

5. Priced at $1300 USD, plus s/h.

Ah, I'd kind of forgotten about it, but I'd probably be willing.

If you are still running the bel canto, I don't know whether the PWDII would be a marked improvement, though I suspect it. I'm confident the upgrade to the DSD would be, but that's coin.
