I wrote that for Dave. And, he taught me all I know about high end audio cables. Imagine that!...I can't either.
Maybe one of these days I'll finish some stuff I've put together and load it to the PC. Never done that. I used to record all my practices and work outs but haven't done that in probably over a year. Used a neat little Fostex 6 channel cassette recorder. Now, my kit's not set up here any more (no room) and the artist I used to play with has my Fostex. The pic you posted is actually an older set up when I had my kit here. This is a pic I took a few weeks ago and is what I currently use with the kit:
