I'm selling my trusty McCormack DNA-HT5

Price is SOLD.
If you aren't familiar with McCormack amps, they are built like tanks. The DNA-HT5 is 65 lbs. This is my second McCormack (I had a DNA-500 driving a pair of Salk HT3s and it was a brute too.)
The amp has been performing HT and multi-channel music duties, driving my center channel (Vandersteen CC-5) and surround speakers (Vandersteen VSM-Sigs) with aplomb. A very musical amp but with the strength to handle movies as well.
The amp is based on the same circuit design as the well-respected DNA-125 but with 5 channels in one chassis instead of two. The amp has RCA inputs and a 12 volt trigger for remote turn-on.

http://www.iar-80.com/page67.htmlI am the second owner. The amp is in great shape cosmetically and sonically. I would rate it an 7 on the Audiogon scale primarily for age and the small nick in the top of face plate (see detail pic below.) There are also some hairline scratches on the edges of the black anodized side cooling fins.

The unit will ship in its original shipping box along with the manual and AC power cord.
The price
includes shipping in CONUS and Paypal fees. I will ship insured with signature required. I have been buying and selling on Audiocircle and Audiogon (dmatt200) since 2008.
If you are looking for a no-nonsense multi-channel amp that sounds great, drives pretty much anything, and never complains while doing it, this is for you.
Thanks for looking.
