While the Technics brand used to be low end, there's no reason to bring it back and represent the low end again, as Panasonic already covers that. The $5,250 and $52,500 prices quoted were for systems though, so the price of individual components might start as low as $1000.
High-end compared to Panasonic, but the lower priced series could turn out to be affordable bargains, relatively speaking, depending on whether they can really deliver new innovative high performance engineering with the economy of large scale production.
